Sorry I wasn't able to make it online on the 27th; there was an incident with a ladder falling on my head, and I've been snacking on Motrin for two days dX

Alright, I'm just trying to wrap up the last of the Secret Santa work. If you did not receive a gift, there are two possible explanations: one, the person who got you went AWOL on us, or two, I had you, and I've finished about six of my total ten pictures so far (it would've been okay with the original three admins and the projected twenty members, but things didn't go exactly as planned. And except for this, I think I'm pretty happy about how they worked out.). So if you did not receive a gift, please leave a comment in this journal, and I'll get back to you ASAP.

Anyways, on to more interesting news:

NEW ADMINS
You guys have made this really hard on me-- because I genuinely like all of the people applying to be admins, and I feel bad about only having to pick two. But that's what will have to happen, 'cause we'd all be feeling pretty pointless if there were more admins. All my internal monologues and whatnot should be wrapped up by Monday, so please look back then.

V-DAY
Doing the Secret Santa thing, I figured out a number of things. The first of which is that organization is KEY to handling this many people. The way you have to get all of your information to us will be fairly different for this upcoming trade-thinger, so please be prepared for some actual organization on my end (shocking to anyone who knows me, hahaha). Anyways, the forms-- don't act shocked, I think they go hand in hand with organization-- will be posted on Monday or Tuesday, depending on my school/work schedule.

This is a sample of the February 2008 Request Form-- We'd appreciate it if you could post all questions about making your request here. And don't forget-- send the form in a note with the title "join"!

EXPLANATION

Username: Your deviantArt username goes here-- please, please, PLEASE be sure to spell it right and include all symbols, or else we won't be able to contact you.
Won't Draw: The founder of the club is underage, and, since she has to look at all of the art, we DO NOT allow anything over a PG-13 rating. That means that there's no need to say "I won't draw nudity/porn/sex/other things," because we won't let you. But if you won't draw anthro, for example, this would be a good place to mention it.
Conflicts: Will there be anything going on in your real life that might require you to post your art late? If so, mention them now-- we're flexible here, and we can probably work around it.
Requests: This is where you put what you'd like drawn-- characters (including links to images and profiles where possible) and poses, as well as anything else you can think of. Don't get too specific, though, because that can sometimes make it difficult for the person who's supposed to draw for you.

Now that you've read that, here's a sample version of it, so you can all have a better idea of what's meant (this is totally made-up, by the way :3 ) :

Conflicts: I might have to turn in my art a few days early, because I'll be going away on vacation on the ninth.
